This clay relief sculpture workshop, open to all ages, invites participants to explore the art of clay modeling in the tranquil, historic setting of Sunder Nursery, Nizamuddin, Delhi. Surrounded by nature, participants will learn to mold, sculpt, and shape clay into beautiful, three-dimensional reliefs inspired by nature, architecture, and personal expression. Designed to encourage creativity, mindfulness, and a connection to cultural heritage, the workshop offers guidance in crafting dynamic, layered clay artworks that are approachable for all skill levels. Key objectives include fostering artistic expression, introducing fundamental clay techniques like shaping and texturing, and using the inspiring ambiance of Sunder Nursery to create pieces reflecting India’s rich heritage.

All materials, including clay, basic tools, and natural elements for texturing, will be provided, and no prior experience is required.

Rohit Kumar is an educator and sculpture artist with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Sculpture from the College of Art, New Delhi. Currently, He is teaching at Shiv Nadar School, Noida, and have been conducting pottery workshops and Clay Relief Sculpture at Sunder Nursery.
