Millets are the buzzword today and everyone knows about them now. It’s a great revival. Yet not many people are sure about how to incorporate them into their diet and bring them into their homes.
Get to know the variety of millets, how they are grown, their health benefits, the right way of consuming millets and how to cook them.
This interactive hands on workshop has always been a super hit and will make you understand the right ways of using millets.
Beejom Gram Sanctuary is an animal sanctuary and sustainable agricultural farm. We use natural farming techniques to grow food. The agricultural practices at Beejom are farm animal-centric.
All the products of the Indian indigenous cattle at the farm are used to manufacture organic manure for the fields. The planting is mostly done with heirloom seeds. The farm hugely promotes Indian millets and traditional foods, and we see that as the most obvious way of restoring the nation's food security, health and ecological wealth.
We have been growing our own millets for years now and have been experimenting with them for quite some time.
P.S.We will be using the event picture at our social media platforms.
