A Workshop by eminent Hindustani Classical Vocalist Madhumita Ray on voice culture. She will demonstrate and teach the correct technique of sound production and the deep connection with sounds of nature and the universe.

A little insight into the Raagas and rhythm also (Very elementary) to give a basic understanding of the mechanics of melody and rhythm.

Madhumita has performed at venues and festivals across the world straddling the thin line between purity and experimentation. With her vocals with jazz musicians in Norway and qawwals in India. She is constantly energized by the Idea that music can heal, cure and be free.
