Sanjhi is an intricate and ancient art of paper cutting originated from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. It was traditionally used to make ceremonial decorations in the temples of Lord Krishna.
Insha-e-Noor uses the dying craft of Sanjhi to make exclusive handcrafted products inspired by the ensemble of local Mughal Monuments.
Insha-e-Noor is a women’s enterprise based out of Nizamuddin Basti, Delhi. It comprises close to 100 local women artisans, who make a range of exclusive handcrafted products inspired from the ensemble of local Mughal monuments.
